Discentes do PPGF/IF-UFG somam 37 publicações em revistas científicas internacionais em 2025
Discentes do programa, conceito 6 na avaliação da Capes, publicaram em revistas científicas de relevância internacional ao longo de todo o ano de 2025
O Programa de Pós-Graduação em Física do Instituto de Física da Universidade Federal de Goiás (PPGF/IF-UFG), com conceito 6 na avaliação da Capes, encerrou o ano de 2025 com uma expressiva produção científica discente: ao todo, mestrandos e doutorandos foram autores ou coautores de 37 artigos publicados em revistas científicas internacionais. As pesquisas abrangem diversas linhas de atuação, como biofísica, fotônica e biofotônica, óptica quântica, sistemas fortemente correlacionados, física de materiais, armazenamento de energia e astrofísica, em consonância com as linhas de pesquisa do programa.
Além da quantidade, o ano foi marcado por publicações de destaque, incluindo três artigos escolhidos como capa de revistas internacionais renomadas no primeiro semestre. Karinna Mendanha Soares, doutoranda orientada pelo Prof. Guilherme Colherinhas, teve seu artigo destacado na capa da ACS Physical Chemistry Au, com estudo sobre nanofibras peptídicas para entrega controlada de medicamentos. João Victor Ribeiro Rocha, orientado pelo Prof. Andris Bakuzis e em colaboração com o Prof. Sebastião Mendanha, figurou na capa da ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces com um nanocarreador magnético para terapia fototérmica, com resultados promissores contra melanoma e glioblastoma. Lucas de Sousa Silva e Henrique de Araújo Chagas, doutorandos do Prof. Guilherme Colherinhas, assinam trabalho sobre supercapacitores ecológicos na capa do The Journal of Physical Chemistry C.

As 37 publicações distribuídas ao longo do ano, em periódicos de diversas áreas e variados estratos de impacto, refletem a pluralidade das linhas de pesquisa do PPGF/IF-UFG e o protagonismo dos discentes na produção científica, figurando como autores principais. A abrangência temática, da Biofísica à Física de Altas Energias, demonstra a capacidade do programa em consolidar competências em múltiplas frentes de forma simultânea. Esse desempenho não apenas ratifica a posição do PPGF entre os expoentes da pós-graduação em Física no Brasil, como também evidencia sua inserção crescente e sólida no cenário internacional.
